My love for 18th century wargaming harks back to my first-ever encounter with wargaming when, as a schoolboy, I stumbled across Brigadier Peter Young’s and Colonel James Lawford’s book Charge! or how to play wargames in my local library. I remember poring over the pictures in the book, totally fascinated by the era and the figures.
My 18th century wargaming has also been influenced by the movie Barry Lyndon, to the extent that I have an ‘imagi-nation’ called the Barryat of Lyndonia!
Here’s a list of all my postings regarding 18th century wargaming.
