Wargaming with samurai required me to learn about a whole new culture and history I hardly knew anything about. And painting all that intricate armour certainly challenged my skills!
Besides the figures, I also had to build up a whole new range of terrain to recreate feudal Japan in miniature.
But the end result has been some very colourful and atmospheric games.
