A review of this blog during 2011

Here’s an excerpt from WordPress’s rather quirky annual report on this ‘Dressing the Lines’ blog:

The concert hall at the Syndey [sic] Opera House holds 2,700 people. This blog was viewed about 45,000 times in 2011. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 17 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.

Thanks to all the people who took those 45,000 views (a number that is hard to imagine!).  I hope you found this blog sufficiently interesting.

While ‘Dressing the Lines’ is purportedly a blog about wargaming and model soldiers, I do have a tendency to go off at tangents from time to time into topics such as family history, books, movies or whatever else even vaguely hobby-related that catches my attention.   So I’m grateful to all those who have chosen to still follow or return to this blog despite these random side-trips.

Anyway, I hope to catch you all again through 2012 … and who knows down which esoteric hobby path  ‘Dressing the Lines’ will travel this year!
